Schedule/Hours:
- Multiple shift options: 3x12, 4x10, or 5x8-hour shifts
- Typical shift start: 8:00 AM
- Call required: 3-4 calls per month (including occasional weekend blocks)
- Holiday scheduling as required
Position Overview: Grow your expertise in a department with 8 dedicated interventional radiology suites, handling 45-50 complex cases daily. Youll collaborate closely with seasoned radiologists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, and tech extenders, broadening your clinical competencies across neuro and body cases from stroke interventions to advanced oncological and trauma procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in IR Body/IR Neuro at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Active BLS certification and ARRT-R or RCIS credential required
- Comfortable with scrubbing, circulating, and equipment operation
- Familiarity with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging technologies preferred
- Open to first-time travelers and those comfortable helping guide newer colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, assist, and circulate for a wide variety of IR procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment
- Support high patient volumes in a fast-paced academic unit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive teaching setting
