Job Description

Contribute your expertise as an Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with IR or Vascular-Interventional Radiography credentials
  • Valid state licensure as required
  • Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures within a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols, sterile techniques, and advanced imaging technology
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and prioritize patient safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and patients

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and nonvascular procedures
  • Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team as necessary
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation for each procedure
  • Ensure proper functioning of radiology equipment and participate in routine quality checks
  • Adhere to all facility and regulatory infection control and safety guidelines
