Contribute your expertise as an Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with IR or Vascular-Interventional Radiography credentials
- Valid state licensure as required
- Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures within a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, sterile techniques, and advanced imaging technology
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and prioritize patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and patients
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and nonvascular procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team as necessary
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation for each procedure
- Ensure proper functioning of radiology equipment and participate in routine quality checks
- Adhere to all facility and regulatory infection control and safety guidelines
