Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist with current ARRT credentials.
  • Specialized experience in interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
  • Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic imaging equipment and technology.
  • Knowledge of imaging safety protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, peers, and patients.
  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
  • State-required licensure for radiologic technologists.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Assist interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedural logs.
  • Monitor patients for comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging suites and equipment.
  • Provide clear pre- and post-procedure patient education and support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize procedure efficiency and patient comfort.
