This assignment offers invaluable rsum-building opportunities with diverse procedures ranging from venous access and TIPS to complex embolizations and interventional body work.
Schedule/Hours:
- Choose between 4x10hr shifts (07:00-17:30) or 5x8hr shifts (08:00-16:30)
- Call duty: 3-4 days/month plus weekend call every 5th-6th weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning)
- No regular weekend shifts except for call rotation
- Free parking and hospital-provided black scrubs
Key Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ARRT-R or RCIS credentials required
- Proficiency in scrubbing/assisting procedures, circulating, operating imaging equipment, and providing procedure support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary IR team to manage a case variety including ports, dialysis lines, Y90s, embolizations, and biopsies
- Engage with the latest equipment: Siemens, Sonosite Ultrasound, Baxter IV Pumps, Omnicell Med Dispensing, and EPIC Encompass EMR
- Ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care, supporting daily volumes averaging 15 patients
