A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging - IR Technologist to support advanced interventional radiology procedures. This contract role is based in Granger, IN, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend and on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities include preparing and operating imaging equipment during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic information. The role demands quick responsiveness, with a 30-minute on-call response time to support urgent imaging needs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience performing interventional radiology imaging procedures.
- Ability to respond efficiently during on-call shifts, including 4-5 nights per pay period and one weekend per month, with weekend duties integrated into the on-call schedule.
