Job Description
Step into a pivotal role supporting advanced patient care as an IR Tech in a dynamic imaging department. This opportunity offers hands-on experience with a range of procedures, including moderate sedation across multiple imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology. Youll be collaborating with a skilled and experienced team, utilizing the Meditech documentation system, and rotating through all medical imaging departments, ensuring variety and continuous professional development.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, rotating 8-hour shifts:
- 7:00am3:30pm
- 8:00am4:30pm
- 9:00amcompletion of cases (call days included)
- Rotational call on weekdays and weekends
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Neuro Interventional Radiology experience is highly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduation from an NLN-accredited school of nursing (RN background)
- Ability to perform and assist with moderate sedation in all imaging departments
- Strong adaptability for floating across various imaging specialties
- Commitment to wearing required blue scrubs for professional appearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality imaging services within a 321-bed acute care hospital environment
- Perform and assist with interventional and neuro-interventional procedures as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in Meditech
- Respond to call requirements and provide comprehensive coverage across the imaging department
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver excellent patient care
