This is a top opportunity for Imaging professionals specializing in Interventional Radiology to gain hands-on experience at a leading healthcare facility. Working in a Level I Trauma Center exposes you to high-acuity cases and the latest medical technology, enriching your expertise and expanding your resume. Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- 4x10s, MondayFriday, 9:00 am7:30 pm
- Rotating day off and on-call schedule
- Floats and weekend shifts as required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years IR Tech experience required
- Trauma-Body and Neuro-Stroke experience required
- ARRT, BLS (AHA only), TX-MRT required; ARRT-VI preferred
- Epic and Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Ability to report to unit within 30 minutes if on call
- Strong communication, professionalism, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality IR procedures for both ambulatory and inpatient populations
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary team members
- Utilize AIDET technique to foster positive patient experiences
- Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and radiation protocols
- Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness; support inventory processes
- Accurately document procedures and medical imaging records
- Participate in preceptorship and training of new team members
