Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 4x10s, Mon-Fri, 06:30-17:00
- Rotating day off and call shifts
- On-call required
- Occasional float or weekend requirements
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Two years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Strong background in body (trauma) and neuro (stroke) procedures
- Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency is a plus
- Valid certifications: BLS (AHA only), MRT, ARRT; VI credential preferred
- Willingness and availability to respond within 30 minutes when on call
- Preceptorship or training experience welcomed
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality IR procedures according to protocols
- Ensure patient comfort, communicate procedures effectively, and maintain stringent safety standards
- Prepare and position patients, employ proper sterile techniques, and adhere to infection control practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Collaborate with engineering teams for equipment upkeep
- Act as a resource and mentor for new staff
