Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week assignment
  • 4x10s, Mon-Fri, 06:30-17:00
  • Rotating day off and call shifts
  • On-call required
  • Occasional float or weekend requirements

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Two years of experience in Interventional Radiology required
  • Strong background in body (trauma) and neuro (stroke) procedures
  • Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
  • Epic EMR proficiency is a plus
  • Valid certifications: BLS (AHA only), MRT, ARRT; VI credential preferred
  • Willingness and availability to respond within 30 minutes when on call
  • Preceptorship or training experience welcomed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality IR procedures according to protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort, communicate procedures effectively, and maintain stringent safety standards
  • Prepare and position patients, employ proper sterile techniques, and adhere to infection control practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for equipment upkeep
  • Act as a resource and mentor for new staff
