Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography; additional Interventional Radiology credentials preferred
- Active state license in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated IR Tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency with advanced imaging equipment and safety protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a range of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality
- Work in tandem with physicians, nurses, and other staff during complex cases
- Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures, maintaining comfort and safety
- Document processes and results in compliance with department standards
- Maintain and calibrate IR equipment as necessary
