Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; specific hours/schedule to be discussed during interview
Key Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum of two (2) years of imaging experience
- Valid New York state license
- Previous experience in interventional radiology highly preferred
- Strong teamwork, accountability, respect, and customer service skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Select appropriate exposure factors, perform accurate positioning, and consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and instruct patients, administering oral contrast as needed
- Operate all x-ray equipment, including CR and DR systems; assist radiologists during procedures
- Maintain medication security in accordance with departmental guidelines
- Efficiently complete procedures, assist colleagues, and help with clerical duties, stocking, and patient transport as needed
- Ensure proper use of hospital systems including HIS, RIS, and PACS, while maintaining confidentiality and security
- Participate in hospital improvement initiatives and answer technical inquiries with professionalism and phone etiquette
