Assignment Details
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (8 or 10-hour day shifts)
- Weekend Rotation: No regular weekends, except for on-call rotation
- On-call: Up to 10 call days/month including one full weekend (FriSun) and additional third-man days; 30-min callback for neuro, 45-min for IR body
- Length: 13 weeks, starting 12/15
Core Responsibilities
- Scrub in alongside IR physicians for advanced neuro and body interventional procedures, including Thrombectomies, Pulmonary Embolisms, UFE, Y90
- Maintain readiness to respond efficiently during on-call periods, meeting strict callback times
- Ensure adherence to best practices, safety standards, and institutional protocols in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience; prior travel experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated neuro IR proficiency
- Valid IL IEMA license
- ARRT certification and BLS required
- Flexibility for varied weekday start dates; orientation preference for Mondays
