As a Travel Imaging IR Tech, youll expand your clinical repertoire by adapting to diverse practices and interacting with innovative healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures and support diagnostic imaging as required.
- Prepare rooms, equipment, and patients for imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver precise, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold rigorous safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and maintain technical equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Support patient comfort and address questions or concerns during procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography and licensed to practice as an IR Tech as required by state law.
- Minimum one year of recent interventional radiology experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile field techniques and radiological safety.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
