An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to provide critical imaging support at a prominent medical center in the Denver, Colorado area. This travel position offers a rewarding assignment focused on advanced IR procedures with a team of skilled professionals and access to Siemens imaging technology.
Location: Denver, Colorado
Work Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
- Night Shift: On-call one weekday and one weekend per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized IR imaging procedures including Y-90 radioembolization, complex biliary interventions, vascular access, and biopsies
- Operate Siemens IR equipment efficiently and safely to assist interventional radiologists
- Collaborate as part of a small team of IR technologists providing high-quality patient care
- Maintain meticulous documentation using Meditech EMR to ensure compliance and continuity of care
- Adhere to unit policies to maintain a safe, sterile, and welcoming environment
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven IR Technologist experience, with vascular interventions (VI) highly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience, especially with Siemens imaging equipment
- Ability to perform complex imaging procedures with competence and precision
- Positive, accountable, and cooperative attitude focused on teamwork and patient safety
