Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years full-time experience in Interventional Radiology or similar imaging role
- Active credentialing: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with RT(R) designation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Comprehensive understanding of IR procedures, fluoroscopy, image-guided vascular access, and related protocols
- Familiarity with compliance, safety regulations, and sterile technique within a hospital setting
- Strong communication and collaborative abilities to support physicians and nursing teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures under the direction of radiologists and physicians
- Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and interventional equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor
- Follow strict protocols for radiation safety, infection prevention, and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure accurate, efficient patient care and seamless workflow
- Maintain organized records and assist with inventory management of IR supplies
