Schedule:
- 4x10s, MondayFriday, 6:30 AM5:00 PM
- Rotating day off
- Rotating on-call shifts
- Float and weekend requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of IR experience required
- Experience in trauma (body) and neuro (stroke) cases required
- Experience with Level I Trauma Centers and Epic EMR preferred
- Valid certifications: BLS (AHA only), MRT, ARRT; VI preferred
- Must be able to respond to call and be ready for cases within 30 minutes (50-mile radius requirement waived)
- Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and effectively communicate with patients and families
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality IR procedures as per protocol on ambulatory and hospital patients
- Ensure correct exams are performed, properly documenting and maintaining patient records
- Prepare patients and procedure areas, adhering to strict safety, infection control, and sterile techniques
- Communicate compassionately with patients, providing education and reassurance
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness, troubleshooting issues as needed
- Serve as a preceptor, offering training to new team members on protocols and initiatives
