Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and state licensure (if required)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an IR Tech preferred
• Proficiency in interventional procedures and sterile techniques
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare patients and assist with patient positioning for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Monitor and document patient condition during procedures
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area in a clean and organized manner
• Follow all regulatory requirements, departmental policies, and safety standards
• Provide patient education and emotional support before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
