Job Description

Join a dynamic interventional radiology team in Carmel, IN, providing specialized imaging support in a high-acuity hospital setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and a collaborative group of professionals in a Level 1 trauma and stroke center.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures in both peripheral vascular and neurovascular interventional radiology.
  • Assist in cases including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrostomy, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies, embolizations, and thrombectomies.
  • Support patient care by scrubbing and circulating in IR rooms equipped with single and biplane Siemens C-arms.
  • Participate in on-call rotations every 3rd or 4th weekend with responsibility to cover shifts as outlined.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and procedural protocols within a busy interventional radiology department.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Proficient in scrubbing and assisting with both peripheral and neurovascular cases.
  • Current BLS and ARRT certifications required.
  • Ability to handle complex IR procedures including central line insertions and IVC filter placements.
  • Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a dual-tech room environment.

Schedule:

  • Night shifts, 4 days per week, 10 hours each (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
  • On-call rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend Friday evening through Monday morning.
