Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist skilled in Imaging and IR procedures, located in the Brookfield, WI area. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment with a reputable healthcare facility, focusing on advanced imaging techniques including Neuro IR, with potential for EPIC system utilization.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 0700 to 1700 shifts
  • Four 9-hour shifts per week
  • On-call rotation: 7 days on-call (Monday to Sunday), followed by 7 days off-call
  • Call hours: Monday to Friday14.5 hours; Saturday and Sunday24 hours
  • Weekend on-call scheduled every other week with flexibility based on department needs
  • Holiday call responsibilities at least once if a holiday falls during the contract period

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality interventional radiology imaging procedures with precision and care
  • Support Neuro IR cases as well as general interventional imaging needs
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation for procedures
  • Potentially float onsite or to nearby locations within a 40-mile radius based on operational demands

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT registration
  • Valid Wisconsin Radiographer License
  • Prior IR experience strongly preferred, especially in Neuro IR
  • Familiarity with EPIC is advantageous
  • Ability to function efficiently in various work settings and adapt to call schedules
