A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging IR Tech to support a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role offers the chance to work with advanced imaging procedures and contribute to high-quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts: 0700-1700, four 9-hour shifts per week
- Call: Rotating schedule7 days on call (Monday through Sunday), followed by 7 days off call
- Call hours: Monday to Friday (14.5 hours per day), Saturday to Sunday (24 hours per day)
- On call every other weekend as per departmental needs
- Holiday coverage required if applicable during contract term
Preferred Background and Skills:
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) credential
- Active Wisconsin Radiographer License
- Prior interventional radiology experience, with strong preference for candidates with Neuro IR background
- Proficiency using EPIC electronic medical records system
- Willingness to float within facility or travel to sites within a 40-mile radius, as needed
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and accurate imaging records within EPIC
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in on-call rotation per department requirements, including weekends and potential holidays
- Support other imaging areas or locations within scope of expertise, if directed
