Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support specialized imaging procedures in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position requires dedication to precision and teamwork to assist interventional radiologists in performing a variety of vascular and non-vascular procedures.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Technologist
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Familiarity with peripherals is preferred
  • Experience in Toshiba/Cannon interventional rooms preferred
  • Preferred skills include nephrogram, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access procedures

Location: Position is based in Big Lake, MN, within a 25-mile radius of the facility, providing an ideal setting for healthcare professionals who want to contribute their skills in a community with easy access to metropolitan amenities. Responsibilities:

  • Scrubbing, annotating, and transmitting images to PACS
  • Circulating during interventional procedures
  • Assisting with lower and upper extremity angiograms, atherectomy, mesenteric procedures, dialysis fistulagrams/declots, nephrostomy and biliary tube placements, embolizations, and port insertions
  • Supporting a team of two interventional radiologists and coordinating with nurses during call shifts

Schedule:

  • 4x9 day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • Call rotation includes 1-2 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call every 4 weeks
