An established hospital in California is seeking an experienced Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a contract position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your specialized skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
• Active registration with ARRT as RT(R)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficient with advanced imaging equipment and sterile techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, following physician instructions with accuracy and safety
• Prepare and position patients for a variety of IR procedures, ensuring comfort and proper technique
• Maintain and operate complex imaging equipment proficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Accurately complete documentation and maintain comprehensive patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure top-tier patient care
