Job Description

Advance your career as an Imaging Interventional Radiology Technologist with a well-established hospital renowned for its innovative spine care and interventional radiology (IR) services. This contract position offers the chance to work on a dynamic, collaborative team in a cutting-edge environment equipped with state-of-the-art GE imaging technology and a comprehensive electronic medical record system (Meditech).

This role centers on supporting a 272-bed facility with two IR suites, providing essential care for a variety of complex and basic IR cases. Youll collaborate with experienced technologists and RNs, engaging in varied proceduresranging from basic IR line placements and drains to advanced neuro interventions, tumor ablations, air spheres, and spine procedures.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM 5:30 PM; on-call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid VI certification or CVIR required
  • Experience with neuro IR and thrombectomy procedures is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure scenarios
  • Demonstrated go-getter attitude and collaborative team spirit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise, high-quality imaging for interventional procedures
  • Assist radiologists and physicians in both straightforward and intricate IR cases
  • Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to strict safety protocols
  • Support and educate patients throughout their IR experience
