Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registration as an IR Tech (Imaging)
  • Prior experience in interventional radiology/imaging preferred
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures according to physician orders
  • Ensure high standards of patient safety and care at all times
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Assist in patient preparation, explanation of procedures, and post-procedure care
