Qualifications:
- Current certification or registration as an IR Tech (Imaging)
- Prior experience in interventional radiology/imaging preferred
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures according to physician orders
- Ensure high standards of patient safety and care at all times
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Assist in patient preparation, explanation of procedures, and post-procedure care
