Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support imaging services at a hospital in California on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment and demonstrates excellent patient care within the imaging department.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; specifics on duration and schedule to be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years full-time interventional radiology (IR) experience
  • Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credential: ARRT (RT)(R)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proven ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest imaging and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment to perform a range of IR diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient care
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information in accordance with hospital policies
  • Comply with all safety, infection control, and confidentiality regulations
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and readiness of equipment and supplies for the IR suite
