Schedule/Hours
- 13-week assignment
- Four 10-hour shifts, MondayFriday, 9:00 AM7:30 PM
- Rotating day off and rotating on-call schedule
- Float and weekend participation required
Broaden your expertise as an Interventional Radiology Technologist by performing high-quality IR procedures, collaborating with esteemed radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in a fast-paced environment serving multiple age groups. You'll gain first-hand experience at a trauma and stroke center, advancing your capability with trauma-body and neuro-stroke imaging, and benefit from access to cutting-edge technology and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- BLS (AHA only), Texas MRT license, ARRT certification (VI preferred)
- Trauma-body and neuro-stroke imaging proficiency; Level I Trauma Center background preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to respond and be ready for cases within 30 minutes during on-call
Responsibilities
- Execute IR imaging procedures per protocol with attention to patient safety
- Communicate clearly with patients/families regarding procedures; foster a positive patient experience
- Maintain equipment and work environment to quality standards
- Comply with infection control, drug, and radiation safety regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely medical imaging records
