Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- 4x10 hour shifts (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM) with rotating day off
- Rotating on-call, float, and weekend shifts
Take your career to the next level by working alongside a variety of specialists in interventional radiology at a Level I Trauma Center. Exposure to diverse clinical casesincluding trauma-body and neuro-strokewill help expand your clinical knowledge and your resume, while you learn new workplace practices and leadership strategies from seasoned healthcare professionals.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Trauma-body and neuro-stroke procedures experience required
- BLS (AHA only), TX-MRT, ARRT required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- ARRT-VI certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality IR procedures per exam protocol with attention to patient safety
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures and building rapport
- Prepare patients and work areas according to safety and infection control policies
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, report issues promptly, monitor inventory
- Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records
- Precept and train new staff as needed
- Participate in on-call coverage and float as required
