• Valid ARRT certification with current registration in Radiography

• Documented experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or clinical setting

• Proficiency in sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing teams during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures
• Monitor and document patient status, following all safety protocols
• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records and enter required data into the system
• Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Educate patients and families about procedures, addressing questions and providing reassurance as needed
• Stay current with advances in IR technology and cross-train as required
