Role Overview: This travel opportunity focuses on Imaging as an Interventional Radiology Technologist supporting a sophisticated Interventional Platform at a busy Level II Trauma Center. Youll gain exposure to a wide variety of advanced procedures ranging from CT/RFA ablations to kyphoplasty and thrombectomies, all while enhancing your repertoire with the latest technology and evidence-based protocols.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Call-only weekend rotation
  • 1011 call shifts per month, including 2 weekends (FriMon)
  • Call shifts: 4pm7am weekdays; weekend call covers Friday 4pmMonday 7am
  • Expect 12 call holidays per contract (holidays are call-only)
  • 30-minute response time required

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years IR or Cath Lab experience required (cross-training between modalities preferred)
  • ARRT certification, IEMA (IL RT license), BLS, and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously; experience with Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Hybrid, EP, and IR experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with EPIC and Siemens equipment preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a 3-person call team to provide intra-procedural IR services (no pre/post care)
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, demonstrating proficiency with advanced interventional technology
  • Support high-acuity cases involving adult inpatient and outpatient populations
