Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.)
- No required weekend rotation
- Holiday coverage only during assigned call weeks
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in Interventional Radiology is essential
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with both vascular and cerebral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Proven proficiency with angiographic equipment and Philips Azurion M20 system
- Advanced IR or C/V registry preferred
- Prior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Ability to act as a scrub assistant on a variety of surgical and interventional cases
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a broad spectrum of IR procedures (e.g., biopsies, catheter placements, vascular stenting)
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized imaging equipment, ensuring high diagnostic quality
- Serve as a scrub tech, directly supporting radiologists and physicians during cases
- Adhere to safety guidelines, department protocols, and quality standards in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital environment
- Accurately identify and process patient images; maintain records using EPIC EMR and PACS systems
- Participate in facility and departmental orientation to ensure seamless integration into the team
