Job Description
Step into a key role supporting advanced patient care as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. In this dynamic, inclusive environment, youll collaborate closely with physicians and provide expert assistance for a range of diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
- MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.
- No weekend rotation
- Holidays required only during your call week
- On-call and call back requirements will be discussed during the interview
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Proficiency operating angiographic equipment for basic/intermediate procedures (biopsies, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, vascular stenting, and more)
- Prior experience with vascular and cerebrovascular diagnostic/interventional cases
- BLS and ACLS required
- Advanced IR or C/V registry preferred
- Experience with Philips Azurion M20, PACS, and ultrasound systems highly valued
- Strong image processing and quality assurance skills
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this opening
Key Responsibilities:
- Skillfully operate angiographic imaging equipment for a variety of procedures
- Scrub and assist in interventional and surgical cases under the supervision of radiologists
- Ensure images meet diagnostic standards and assist with equipment evaluations
- Support clinical engineering and contribute to ongoing technology assessments
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork within an inclusive department
- Adhere to department protocols and assist with orientation for new staff as needed
