Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified and registered as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Valid radiology technologist license, as required by the state
• Previous experience in a hospital or large clinical setting preferred
• Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and interventional radiology techniques
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide imaging support for interventional radiology procedures, such as angiograms, biopsies, and stent placements
• Prepare imaging rooms and equipment, ensuring readiness for complex procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff during interventions
• Monitor and document patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate records, images, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Apply radiation safety principles and maintain patient comfort at all times
• Assist with inventory management and regular maintenance of imaging equipment
