Job Description

Make an impact in a dynamic hospital environment as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, supporting advanced patient care in a fast-paced, teaching-focused department. Utilize your specialized imaging skills in a facility recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center, managing both inpatient and outpatient cases.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.)
  • No weekend rotation
  • Holiday coverage only if your assigned call week

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Interventional Radiology; experience with vascular and cerebral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Advanced IR or Cardiovascular Registry highly preferred
  • Experience with angiographic equipment for procedures such as biopsy, para/thoracentesis, abscess drainage, stenting, catheter placement, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization
  • Skilled as a scrub assistant on basic interventional and surgical procedures
  • Strong background in image quality assessment; experience with Philips PACS, Philips fluoro rooms, Philips Azurion M20 system, and EMR (Epic)
  • First-time travelers are not accepted

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Radiologist with interventional cases and provide scrub support
  • Competently perform procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases
  • Ensure images are processed and meet diagnostic standards
  • Evaluate and support digital imaging equipment alongside clinical engineering staff
  • Maintain collaborative, inclusive working relationships within a supportive department culture
