Job Description
A specialized role in electrophysiology technology is available in Monroe, NC, offering an opportunity to contribute to a Level I Trauma teaching hospital with 874 licensed beds. This contract position involves working in a highly advanced cardiac EP Lab with 4-3 EP labs operating on a rotating weekly schedule.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of EP Lab experience required
- First-time travelers considered
- Licenses & Certifications:
- RN: BLS, ACLS; proficiency in EPIC charting and pre/post procedure documentation
- Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ACLS; ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS required; RCES preferred
- Skills:
- RN: Experience with management of pressors, conscious sedation, and EP Lab procedures
- Tech: EP/structural scrub expertise required; case monitoring preferred
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Perform electrophysiology studies (EPS), catheter ablations (including PFA, Radiofrequency, Cryoablations)
- Assist with implantable devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, loop implants, and lead extractions
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including VAD, ECMO, RT, and code response units
- Maintain accurate documentation via EPIC EMR system
- Utilize and troubleshoot advanced cardiac technology and monitoring equipment (Philips, GE, Siemens)
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts, generally 06:30 to 17:00, Monday through Friday
- Weekend call rotation and holiday coverage expected (at least one holiday during contract)
- Schedule cycles every six weeks with manager-approved requested time off
