Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) / Electrophysiology (EP) Tech to support advanced cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This contract position is based in Goose Creek, SC, offering a structured Monday-Friday daytime schedule with weekends and on-call hours not required.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5 days x 8 hours)
  • Type: Contract
  • Guaranteed hours with minimal call-offs permitted by the facility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic catheterizations and adult cardiovascular procedures including pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, and conduction studies
  • Assist with permanent pacemaker insertions, temporary pacemakers, insertion and programming of AICDs (Automated Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators)
  • May float to similar service lines when needed
  • Maintain radiation safety standards with agency-provided radiation badge

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; candidates with prior exposure in similar roles are encouraged to apply
  • National certification required: ARDMS or CCI; ARRT in addition to these is a plus but not mandatory
  • Current SCQRSA licensure and certifications in BLS & ACLS required
  • Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency

This assignment is suitable for both local candidates from within a 60-mile radius and those willing to accept contract work with stable, daytime hours and no on-call demands. First-time contractors with relevant experience are welcome.
