This opportunity is ideal for experienced Cardiovascular Technologists or EP Technicians seeking a rewarding role in a dynamic healthcare environment. Located in Goose Creek, SC, this contract position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with 40 hours per week, working daytime shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves performing diagnostic catheterizations and various cardiac device insertions, providing critical support in cardiac care.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting diagnostic catheterizations for adult patients
- Performing permanent pacemaker and temporary pacemaker insertions
- Assisting with pulmonary artery and right heart catheterizations
- Carrying out conduction studies and insertion/programming of AICDs
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including radiation safety with a required radiation badge
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in cardiovascular or electrophysiology technology; first-timers with prior related experience are considered
- National certification through ARDMS or CCI is required; ARRT is a plus but not mandatory
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Licensed with SCQRSA
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency as it is not supplied by the facility
This position does not require on-call or weekend shifts, offering a consistent weekday schedule. There is potential for floating to like units within the service lines, enhancing professional development. The facility respects work-life balance and allows for occasional shift cancellations under a structured policy.
