Key Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited program
- IEMA Radiology licensure
- ARRT registration (Radiologic Technologist)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Completion of two years training at an approved school of radiologic technology
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous patient care experience is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination areas and position patients for specialized radiologic procedures
- Sterile setup and assistance to physicians with arteriograms and other imaging interventions
- Operate complex radiology equipment using established techniques and routines
- Accurately follow all procedural protocols and patient safety standards
- Provide age-appropriate care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Support the team by passing materials, operating equipment, and capturing exposures as directed
