Step into a role focused on cardiovascular technology and electrophysiology in a dynamic clinical environment. This position supports critical cardiac procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertions, conduction studies, and more. With a structured Monday through Friday schedule of five 8-hour day shifts, this opportunity offers consistent hours and no on-call or weekend requirements, providing a balanced professional lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures such as adult catheterizations and pacemaker insertions
- Assist with the insertion and programming of implantable cardioverter defibrillators (AICDs)
- Support conduction studies and pulmonary artery insertions with precision and care
- Collaborate across service lines with possible floating assignments within similar units
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols including radiation handling; a radiation badge supplied by the agency is mandatory
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular technology or electrophysiology; first-time professionals with relevant background are welcome
- National certification required: ARDMS or CCI; ARRT certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary
- Licensure in SCQRSA required
- Must provide an agency-issued radiation badge as the facility does not issue badges to travelers

Candidates should be willing to work within a 60-mile radius of this location, with local applicants considered thoughtfully.
Additional Information:
- Contract position with guaranteed 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
- Facility may call off one shift every two weeks
- Locals may be accepted at a reduced rate on a case-by-case basis
