Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current certification or registry as Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech)
- Previous experience in cardiac EP labs strongly preferred
- Able to set up, operate, and troubleshoot EP lab equipment
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and sterile technique
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to different healthcare settings
Responsibilities:
- Prepare EP lab for procedures, ensuring all equipment is ready and functioning
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures
- Monitor patient status and document procedural data
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing department training
