Schedule/Hours:

• Must be available for on-call shifts
• Rotating weekends and holidays may be required

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated competency in comprehensive echocardiography, including adult, pediatric, transesophageal (structural heart), and stress testing
• Familiarity with laboratory protocols for measurements and calculations
• Ability to provide concise oral summaries of findings to interpreting physicians when requested
• Strong patient safety orientation and effective communication skills
• Willingness to administer Ultrasound Enhancing Agents (UEA) and perform saline bubble studies
• Adaptability for additional duties and rotating on-call/weekend/holiday coverage
• Current registry or credentialing as applicable (ARDMS or CCI preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality cardiac imaging studies according to department guidelines
• Accurately measure, document, and report echocardiographic findings
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Support patient safety and comfort at all times within the Echo department
• Participate in contrast studies and specialized imaging as needed
• Provide preliminary findings to interpreting physicians, supporting collaborative care
• Assist with additional clinical or departmental tasks as assigned
