Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in echocardiography and vascular imaging. This contract position offers an engaging work environment with a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, located in Victoria, TX. The role includes call responsibilities every third weekend and rotational call during the week, with no floating assignments, no 48-hour shifts, and no block scheduling. Maximum requested time off is limited to three days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality transthoracic contrast echocardiograms with advanced technical skill.
  • Conduct venous and arterial Doppler studies as part of vascular imaging duties.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Medhost and Carestream efficiently.
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Adhere to facility protocols while providing vascular and echocardiographic imaging services.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Registered Vascular Technologist certification highly preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in echocardiography and vascular technology, sonography, or non-invasive cardiovascular technology.
  • Registry by ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in echocardiography and vascular technology preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to perform intravenous line placements and administer IV medications is advantageous.
  • Experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac/vascular stress testing is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined echocardiography and vascular imaging experience.
