Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift, 7:00AM 5:30PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a two-year allied health education program (patient care related) highly preferred
  • Current State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
  • Registered or registry eligible with A.R.D.M.S./CCI or comparable national accreditation
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum two years recent experience performing echocardiograms preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Manual dexterity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on both adult and pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with the Director of Cardiovascular Services and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain rigorous safety standards to minimize exposure to pathogens
  • Safely handle and maneuver equipment, beds, and carts
