Job Description
A healthcare role is available for an experienced echo sonographer specializing in imaging with echocardiography skills in San Antonio, TX. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to work in a leading non-invasive cardiology/cardiac ultrasound unit at a reputable hospital known for high-quality patient care and advanced medical specialties.

Responsibilities:
- Perform complete echocardiograms independently with a focus on cardiac anatomy and disease processes
- Conduct approximately 75-80 procedures daily, mainly portable studies
- Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Meditech systems
- Comply with unit policies including floating as needed within the department
- Adhere to dress code and professional grooming standards to present a clean, professional appearance
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital echocardiography experience required
- Active RCS or RDCS certification (ARDMS required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in performing transthoracic echocardiograms, with knowledge of TEE, stress echos, and vascular imaging considered a plus
- Experience with Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX ultrasound equipment highly preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems is advantageous
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend shifts required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
