Set against the scenic backdrop of northern New Mexico, this travel assignment in Pecos invites allied health professionals to immerse themselves in one of the Southwests most idyllic settings. As a Registered Cardiac Sonographer in the Echo Lab, youll be performing diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, contributing to advanced cardiac care while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your work will shape patient outcomes and augment your expertise in the field, making a meaningful impact on your resume and supporting career progression.
Schedule:
- Day shifts, 7:00AM 5:30PM
- No required weekend or on-call duties
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate of a patient care-related allied health education program
- ARDMS/CCI registration (or registry eligible) or comparable national accreditation
- Current State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum two years direct echocardiogram experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Manual dexterity and comfort working at a fast pace under pressure
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric populations
- Ensure image quality and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and medical teams to interpret results
- Maintain and adjust equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols for infection control
