Perform advanced cardiac ultrasound imaging in a dynamic clinical environment specializing in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings. This contract opportunity is based in Overland Park, KS, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with one on-call night per week. The role supports multiple areas including the OR, cath lab, and EP lab, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment such as GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX for resting/stress and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a wide range of echocardiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care across various hospital departments.
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in orientation sessions to align with facility practices, including EMR training on EPIC.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with at least 4,000 echocardiograms performed.
- Certification as RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred background includes graduation from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or related health science disciplines.
- Training or certification in IV and UEA contrast administration is a plus.
- Neonatal echo experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
