Job Description

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in echocardiography to perform diagnostic imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity centers on delivering high-quality patient care through the use of advanced echocardiographic techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac ultrasound, demonstrating precision and compassion while interacting with patients and collaborating with medical staff.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Certification as an Echo Technologist or equivalent training in echocardiography
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment specific to cardiac ultrasound (2D, Doppler, and color flow)
  • Understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to echocardiography
  • Experience selecting appropriate imaging parameters and conducting studies independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate findings and instructions clearly
  • Ability to accurately document procedures and observations according to facility guidelines
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; specific schedule details to be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate echocardiographic equipment for diagnostic imaging and assist in various cardiac assessments
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes, and addressing concerns to ensure comfort
  • Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to obtain accurate diagnostic information
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and equipment safety
  • Record, process, and archive imaging data following established protocols
