Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of echocardiography procedures, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow studies in accordance with physician orders.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image clarity and patient safety.
• Work closely with cardiologists to facilitate accurate diagnoses and timely reporting.
• Review and document patient history, ensuring all imaging aligns with medical protocols.
• Provide compassionate care and clear explanations to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control practices, and institutional protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonography program.
• ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a hospital or clinical setting, performing various echocardiographic studies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and reassure patients.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid BLS certification.
