Youll provide high-quality echocardiographic imaging for both adult and pediatric patients, deepening your clinical skills and expanding your experience in a supportive and professionally diverse environment. This assignment promises not only hands-on exposure to progressive workplace practices and various leadership styles but also adds a valuable dimension to your resume.

Schedule:

  • Days: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
  • No weekends or on-call requirements

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms to support cardiac evaluations
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and a multi-disciplinary team
  • Maintain careful documentation and uphold safety standards
  • Adapt quickly in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure setting
  • Comply with infection prevention protocols and equipment care

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a two-year allied health education program in a patient-care field preferred
  • Current A.R.D.M.S. or CCI registration (or registry eligibility/national accreditation)
  • Valid New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience performing echocardiograms (2 years preferred)

Additional Skills:

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and preciseespecially under stress
  • Comfortable with physical demands, including lifting and moving equipment or patients
