Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a two-year allied health education program in a patient care-related discipline is preferred
  • Current A.R.D.M.S. or CCI certification/registration (or eligibility); comparable national accreditation considered
  • State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Two years experience performing echocardiograms preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to perform effectively under stressful, fast-paced conditions

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients within an Echo Lab setting
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging, maintaining safety and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with the Director of Cardiovascular Services and multidisciplinary teams to support cardiac care
  • Safely manage and maneuver medical equipment, including assisting with patient positioning as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate imaging records
  • Adhere to organizational policies and uphold patient confidentiality

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
