Schedule:
- Days, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on a variety of patients, including adults and pediatrics
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team within the Echo Lab
- Maintain a rapid pace and ensure quality patient care, even under pressure
- Adhere to stringent infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, assisting in patient movement and safety as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a two-year patient care-focused allied health program (preferred fields: sonography, radiology, respiratory therapy, occupational/physical therapy, or nursing)
- A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered, registry eligible, or comparable national accreditation
- State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- At least two years of experience actively performing echocardiograms (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and manual dexterity skills
