Qualifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with cardiac imaging equipment and related software
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and a positive attitude in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

• Perform precise and high-quality echocardiographic exams in accordance with physician orders
• Analyze and interpret imaging results, ensuring comprehensive documentation
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to support patient care
• Maintain and calibrate echo equipment, following strict safety and infection-control protocols
• Support patient comfort and answer questions about the imaging process
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance initiatives and training
