This opportunity seeks an experienced Echo Sonographer to perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations in a well-established, patient-focused cardiology unit. The role supports non-invasive cardiology and cardiac ultrasound services, requiring advanced technical skills and a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and disease processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment including Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX systems.
• Document findings accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies including floating as needed across departments.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with dress code standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RCS or RDCS certification through ARDMS.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience in an echocardiography setting.
• Proficiency in completing thorough echocardiographic studies independently.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathology.

Preferred Experience:

• Skills in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress echocardiography, and vascular imaging.
• Experience with Meditech electronic documentation.
• Ability to manage approximately 75-80 studies per day, including portable exams.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
• Weekend shifts required.
• Approximately 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Location: Cibolo, TX.
• Contract assignment length: 24 weeks.
