Schedule/Hours:
- Must be available for call, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in echocardiography, including adult, pediatric, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
- Ability to perform measurements and calculations following strict laboratory protocols
- Skilled in clearly communicating findings to interpreting physicians and healthcare team members
- Confident administering Ultrasound Enhancing Agents (UEA) and conducting saline bubble studies, as needed
- Strong focus on patient safety and well-being in the Echo department
- Flexibility to take on-call shifts and adapt to weekend or holiday rotations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiac imaging studies as assigned
- Provide concise oral summaries of preliminary findings when requested
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all patients
- Perform additional related duties as required by leadership
